Leather Gloves

Sometimes the biting wind really chills my fingers. When I'm returning with groceries, the plastic shopping bags really dig into my skin and the cold just makes it worse. But I've returned (don't worry, this blog project was not abandoned, I'm just a busy college student) to share some of my picks for leather gloves. Classy, elegant, and forever stylish, leather gloves can really pull an outfit together and serve as a functional piece.

Leather Gloves

The ruffles and perf detail add a cute touch to solid black leather.

Moschino

Pleats

Buttons

Buttons and ruffles adorn these cute fingerless steampunk gloves. I love the red detail.

Plum

Long style with buttons, deep wine color.

Olive

A nice refresher from the traditional black and neutrals, these pretty greenies can add a bit of flair without making too much of a statement.

Oi oi oi

What happened to the rest of these? is this like the opposite of a fingerless glove where we remove the hand? Its awkward to wear and just looks sloppy.

Style Tips:
It is difficult to find a leather glove that, well, fits like one. This is because most lack stretch and can only accommodate hands of a certain size. Always try on a glove before you buy. Leather gloves can wear down quickly so be mindful of when and how you are wearing them and what you are doing in them. While they can pull off a polished and sophisticated look, choosing the right one is important. Don't go for overly wrinkly or fake leather, which usually looks bad regardless.
