This season, one piece bathing suits are back. They are classic, elegant, and beautiful. Impress at the beach with some of my picks or one of your own. Going back to awkward hybrids, I strongly advise against almost all monokinis. They are weird and make me wonder what that extra piece of fabric is for.

Summer Outfit

I picked up some cute shorts form the Gap Outlet today. After waiting for weeks for the price to drop, they were finally reduced to $12.99. Awesome! It's a bit hard to see in the picture, but they're striped and very distressed for that cool vintage look. They inspired me to pull together this outfit for you guys:

This spring, I predict a huge tropical print trend that will most likely carry over into the summer. To sport bold colors and wild styles, I suggest pairing these pieces with toned down pastels and neutrals to help them stand out. And to keep you from getting lost in them, too.
